One of the "Meccas" of Kiteboarding worldwide, Praia do Cumbuco, is located just 35km from Fortaleza. A city with great logistical facilities and surrounded by tourist attractions for all ages.

The region has developed a lot with the arrival of kitesurfers there you can find athletes from the region training and having fun.

The location is perfect for starting and improving kiteboarding, as it is full of idyllic lagoons. The wind is hot and constant, the water temperature is warm and the lagoons are mostly shallow. Which makes learning easier.

At Cumbuco Beach you can sail in calm seas, safely downwind, surf some waves at Pico das Almas, sail in Lagoa do Cauípe which is considered one of the best lagoons in the world and even enjoy the sunset on the dunes.

Cumbuco is a reference in gastronomy, it also has restaurants with local, specialized and international cuisine. Excellent for all tastes and budget.

TAÍBA - CEARÁ - BRAZIL

Taíba is 75km from Fortaleza and about 40km from Cumbuco beach. Picturesque town with easy access and full of pleasant surprises.

The region has developed a lot with the arrival of European immigrants, today it has a colony of French descendants, which provides a unique cuisine.

Taibinha beach is famous for surfing, the rights have a unique formation due to the rock bottom. What also favors the practice of kitesurfing, because the wind is in a position lateral to the wave. The place is considered one of the best wave spots in the Brazilian northeast.

The main attraction is the Taiba lagoon, as it has stronger and more constant winds than the other lagoons in the region. The lagoon is so vast that it has space for all levels and different modalities, from freeride to strapless freestyle.

Perfectly suits beginner, intermediate and advanced kitesurfers. In some stretches the lagoon has a good depth for the practice of foil and foil wing.

There you can have your first contact with kiteboarding and find professional athletes putting on a show in the lagoon.
